About Us

The Bavuta Beedi company has a rich heritage of 110 years in business. The Beedi industry is filled with many spurious and counterfeit products. We at Bavuta Beedi had to strategically choose our business model to overcome that.

Hence, we had our production and sales locations different from each other. The manufacturing place is usually not the area where the beedi is sold. We had production facilities in 5 cities- Ambur, Arcot and Visharam in Tamilnadu and Kurnool and Tenali in Andhra Pradesh.

Our Beedis are predominantly sold in Andhra Pradesh. There are 3 Major Depots- Ongole, Guntur and Tadepalli in Andhra Pradesh. From these depots, the beedis are distributed to the stockists and the dealers. Apart from this, there are 5000 sales outlets in Chennai and Pondicherry alone.

The Bavuta Beedi company employs around 5000 people directly and about 1000 people work from home by taking home the raw material from the production units and bring them back as rolled beedis.
